I just received used Bogen 3040 and 3050 tripods (same as 3046 and 3051) that I bought as a pair.
I have 3047 heads that came with these as well and I can see that combined with the 3050 this config will be unusable unless I get much shorter or for birding.
So, as of right now, the 3040 will be my favorite with my Paragon Plus mount on it. Does it count if that's all I have to compare to?
PS
I need a plastic leg cap for the extendable portion of one of the 3040 legs - it also keeps it from coming all the way out of the assembly. I've seen them on the net in packets of 5 for $10.00. Anyone got one they wanna sell? Used is fine too.
