I saw this thread on the second page, so I thought I would give her the old "bump". My parents have arrived safely from Arizona! My dad has given me the 6" F/8 mirror and scope parts to complete that scope, give it a mount, and give it a name. I may start a thread in the ATM forum about its journey into a working astronomical instrument. I really need to give it a modern secondary mirror, I do not think the 50 year old prism secondary will work satisfactorily. I haven't decided whether to make it a tube based dobsonian or what, I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there.
