Hello David,
There is an adapter that will screw in to the center hole in your second picture. It is like a post and has a place on the bottom to attach to a tripod or P mount. The one I got is stainless steel and has a button that you screw in to the hole in the hinge of the binos and quick releases to the stem. I will try to find the manufacturer and post it.
