Hey Patrick, Sorry to hear you've got similar problems, but reassuring that I'm not alone,if you know what I mean I would really appreciate and look forward to any feedback you do eventually get!!Do you also have the Paragon Mount??
I'm a bit surprised/disappointed that there's a lack of "Compatability" with my gear though. If my Bino's were Garret's or Obie's I could kinda forgive it as the mount is from a different manufacturer,..BUT..I can't believe that the Orion 15*70mm's are TOO SMALL for the L-Bracket and that the slimline bracket that came with the Bino's can't,it seems, be fitted without without some major DIY work ...I thought Orion would have covered their tracks on this one
Maybe the only solution would be that DIY route and get a new L-Bracket or Mount Head made...but I haven't got the skillsets for that task and going to a mechanical workshop and getting stuff made...well, it could get very messy
Anyway, hopefully we'll talk soon Patrick and whatever happens, good luck with your searching on your Bino/mount quest,..........
DAVID..
