The problem he is having here is this.
a typical tripod shoe has the screw that screws into the underside of the L adapter. That is not the case here.
the Pgram mount head shown has female screw thread holes and is designed to "accept" screws that are inserted down thru the top of the L adapter.
there is no way to insert screws thru the top of the premium thin profile L adapter. It has only one 1/4x20 female screw hole and it is made to be attached from underneath.
that has always been an issue with the "Virgo Skymount Style" Orion parallelogram mount.
The wide, and sturdy L adapter provided by Orion has pretty much been the standard for a dozen years, is a very good L adapter and will fit probably 8 out of 10 binoculars. Few binoculars require a thin profile L adapter. I've got one thin profile adapter. I've got 8 or 10 wide L adapters.
The FarPoint Adapter would work, as it has two holes that would allow you to insert screws from top down into the Pgram (if the spread is the same). As mentioned, quite expensive.
