That's a good point as, given the chip size, the reason to buy the Orion may be wider field imaging [where a DSLR might've been used] and then still use the SBIG for the up-to ~30-50' objects. Though the Orion shows a 7.8x7.8 pixel size and the SBIG is 7.4x7.4 pixel size. Ultimately this may come down to the lowest noise capabilites?
