You can't do anything obvious because the FAR-Sight, like any normal bino adapter, has a threaded hole designed to accept a 1/4-20 screw coming up from the bottom, whereas the Paragon's adapter has two unthreaded holes designed to take 1/4-20 screws going down into a block with threaded holes.
Tony and Ed - Thanks for the info.
I am curious. It looks like there are 4 other holes on the Far-sight base - at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, Are they threaded or unthreaded? Wouldn't they serve the purpose of coming down from the top into the Paragon block 1/4-2- threaded holes?
Also, the CN Review appears to show the Far-sight mounted thru the center hole from the top down with a hex-cap screw? Any option there? Could you thread a single 1/4-20 down into one of the two Paragon block holes?
The orion adaptor pushes the price to about $100 - I'd like to get a solution without it.
Thanks, Myles
