Sander; that's exactly what I found. The IDAS is a significant improvement over the broadband skyglow. At the moment I use my old broadband on my monochrome camera and my IDAS on my color camera. In the nest week or so I'll be ordering another IDAS so I'll be using the same filter on both.
Speaking of staying on-topic (or close to it) a good light pollution filter that also preserves as much color as possible is a must-have when imaging with a color camera under suburban skies.
