Please don't even think that. You will be disappointed. Please, let's be realistic. I was at your stage when I stripped the forms off the slab on March 29th. Since then I have put in 13 days of hard work, and still lack a day to finish. On two of those days, we had three people working, and two on most of the rest. If you and your wife are doing this, and not being experienced at construction, expect it to take at least two months of weekends.
