Thanks, Forrest... I was very lucky to be there last August, during the peak of the Perseids. The sky was dark enough to give you the feeling you can't see the ground. I don't find too many places like that anymore. Bumpass Hell parking lot at Lassen was similar. I guess I can count the places like that, that I've been to in California, on two fingers ;-)
