Hi all,
I ended up buying the 25x100's. I was told that they are in fact Oberwerk binoculars, which have been given rave reviews in America. I will buy a smaller pair for birding when the migration season starts at the end of the year.
As you can tell, I'm a relative novice, but when I get them, I will let fellow forum members know what I think. I'm getting them for my birthday which falls on 6th July.
Kenny, if you read this, do you ever see Kingfishers at Martin Mere during the winter? I'd love to see them and possibly take photo's, but I understand that its illegal to go near their nests during the spring and summer.
