Ouch Charlie, that doesn't look very nice! Likely the fastest way is mounting it again and use as is. But if you would like to get rid of this, maybe your best bet is Jim Egger from Aeroquest. He made some worm/wormwheels I believe and also new gear-sets for the transfer etc. You also have the Gierlinger site, he used to make worm/wormwheels for the EQ6. Don't know if he continues nowadays!
I hope they can do something for you!
