From what I have read (big grain of salt) "Ortho" films are not red sensitive. On another forum, people are wondering about Rollei R3 film which is a "Pan" film sensitive to red. No one has reported back that R3 is good for astrophotography yet though. I hope to try some HP-5 plus which Robert Reeves reported tested well many years ago in his book "Widefield Astrophotography". Good luck! Gary
