Last night, I attached it on Orion's "Large Tritech Tripod," but it was really shaky and unstable. Both of tripod and adapter have rough rubber surfaces. Is this normal or is the item defective? The adapter only costed 8.99 + shipping in Opticsplanet. Thanks.
