I use Thunderbird 2 and I particularity like it's built in spam filtering. Set mine up so that spam automatically gets deleted. Between my ISP's filter and Thunderbirds, 99% of spam gets junked before it reaches my inbox. Thunderbird also has a button to mark any junk mail that does get through which is then deleted.
I have two pop email accounts. With Outlook I couldn't send emails from my account with my old ISP unless I was connected through them. But with Thunderbird it lets me send mail from my old account through my new ISP's SMTP server.
The only thing I miss from outlook express is the ability to edit the source html of an email. But I don't really need that much.
