You have to join the Yahoo Satellite Tracker user group but no big deal. The big deal is that unless you have an LX200 mount, it's very dicey. There is a "go-between" program by the EQMOD group called EQMODLX. This module translates LX200 commands (which Satellite Tracker was written for), to supposedly Celestron and Synta EQ5 and 6 mounts. I have tried it on my SkyWatcher HEQ5-Pro with inconsistent results. Most of the time it tracks for a minute or so, then lags behind with the gears working overtime. You also need a program that sets up a virtual com port on the computer. Not the physical port of the ASCOM driver. Satellite tracker needs to see another com port and this is what this program does.
