I've been doing the same research, and drawing the same conclusions. The Tak and the Baader appear to be the best possibilities OUT there right now (for the certain specific applications you've discussed)...
But because of our annual monsoon, I haven't been doing any observing lately, so *I* haven't done anything with the data I've gathered...
Looks like YOU have, and will soon have a hands-on example of the two I've been looking at (even though I still haven't tested my Meade multicoated prism diagonal; one of two or so I've gotten through Meade over the years)... Much less ORDERED anything...
So, as is often the case, I'll be looking forward to reading your latest report on the subject!!!
