Finding stars on Stellarium
      07/17/08 05:35 PM

I have 0.9.1 installed. I'm trying to find a specific star, such as Eta Carinae which name shows up when you eventually locate it manually - so it must be in its database.

However when I use the search function it only seem to allow the basic names, such as Sirius.

Is there an advance search hidden somewhere. Seems to be a silly limitation.
