Rahul,

Remember, that 2130 is a jones-bird, but there are others -- as I said -- which are not. Even so, if you have a 4.5" scope now, and are looking for something of an upgrade, I'd be tempted to say to go for a larger one, even if you _will_ get a better image in a parabolic newt of the same size.

That said, I observed Jupiter with a 90mm Meade 97ER (which is an older Maksutov Cassegrain) just tonight. It is one of two telescopes that I use primarily, and -- allowing for its small-ish 90mm aperture -- I'm very happy with it. It's remarkably portable, and the images are quite good.
