Changing your color scheme to as much black as possible and putting a couple layers of Rubylith over your screen will do the trick. Rubylith is used in the screen printing business and is a red transparency film. I was told you can find it at art stores, but I was unsuccessful at both Michael's and Aaron Brothers Frame & Art. I'm going to try a screen printing supply store next.
