I'm very happy with my TIS DMK21AF04. I can only compare it to the NexImage and the Philips SPC900NC, and it's definitely a step up in both quality & complexity (LRGB vs. one shot). I did a comparison using Mars when I got the DMK that I think shows the difference pretty well.
I use the Firewire version since I'm on the Mac and can use AstroIIDC to drive it. I'm not aware of a Mac USB driver.
For planetary imaging, there's no advantage to the DMK31 or 41. If anything, they're not as well suited since the larger frame slows down the max frame rate. The larger frame might be nice to have on the moon, though, for making mosaics from fewer images.
