I don't think there's a commercial alternative. I made a custom adapter to attach my Tak Mewlon clamp to my AP600 (I was also pushing the weight limit a bit). There's a thread here: Mounting a Mewlon 250 on an AP600E GTO.

Summary: I got it down under a pound, but it was a lot of effort.
