Used MSA to pinpoint the location, and the two faint stars I mentioned show up on a photo of the object, so I'm fairly certain I was at the correct location. Will definetely try for this PN again - on a moonless night of excellent transparency. Much appreciate the response. Keeps this PN in my active file and out of my forget-about-it circular file.
