Hopefully, Jack Huerkamp will post, but in the interim, here's what I know:
1. S-video is the only output; either a color TV or a color monitor - either with S-video input will work. Like many MCHP owners, I have a small monitor for focus and another for wider viewing. Most PCs don't have an S-video input, but there are adaptors.
2. Recording (so far) can be done only on a standard DVD recorder.
3. These recordings can be transferred to a PC, but to be viewable/editable, have to be converted to .avi format.
