Agreed. This is one of the strong points of the Hyperion Zoom - true - the field stop is fuzzy at 24mm with about a 47° FOV, and there is little gain at 24mm over 20mm, but from that point on the field stop is sharp and the AFOV increases to almost 70° when you hit 8mm. Center sharpness is excellent and the edge is remarkably good for a zoom.
While premium, fixed EP's are always going to be better at any given FL, if one is going to go for a zoom, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value.
I especially like using this on viewing sessions with visitors. When an object moves out of the FOV, it's nice to just quickly zoom out, reposition, and zoom back in again!
