His and Hers NGC 6302

After some lunar sketching on August 5th, we headed for Sagittarius. Neither of us had ever looked at the "Bug Nebula". The C8 with the MallinCAM Hyper Color did pretty well. We projected the image this time so a friend could watch also, although one loses a bit of detail when the image is projected. When one studies the object, the array of colors is actually quite extensive. It was good night to give thanks.
