Dan,
From your sig line it looks like you have the C6 on a Voyager alt/az mount. Is that correct?
While that looks like a nice grab and go setup, have you tried the C6 on a goto mount that has tracking? The reason I mention it is because the C6 has a relatively long focal length which makes finding and tracking objects manually quite a chore. I never feel satisfied when using my C6 on my alt/az mount. Tracking with a dob or a widefield instrument is relatively easy compared to starhopping with any SCT.
Just a thought. I've found that difficult ergonomics of an instrument can sometime affect the way I feel about the view I'm getting from it.
