Thanks for clearing that up, i knew one of them was the clone.
Sadly, it would seem that the baader hyperion is still slightly better than the Vixen Lanthanum Wide LVW Eyepieces. However, if i can grab up a Vixen Lanthanum LV like a 20mm or something, for 73 bucks, maybe ill consider it.
I read the review here on cloudy nights of the vixen 6mm LV compared against a university optics orthoscopic eyepiece.
Despite the vixen being a 5-7 element eyepiece, its a planetary eyepiece. The review also says that the vixen LV had alot of brightness loss compared to the ortho, which made it not so suitable for DSOs. He also mentioned field curvature at the outer 25% of the field of view.
Really though, i would wait it out. There are going to be far better eyepieces coming out within a year from now. I don't want to be one of those guys who have 100s of eyepieces lying collecting dust in a closet, after spending 70-300 dollars on each of them.
