It turns out the plastic package is rather rigid and strong. Good news!
On the other hand,

The anti-alias/IR-cut glass chipped.
Using brute force won't snap the filter off.
Using (my hacksaw) Dremmel with regular cutting wheel, it will take out some boundary-layer adhesive but not all. It implies the adhasive is very strong and is located in between the IR-cut (glass type) filter and the CCD glass window.
Obviously I am at the point of no return.

Dremmel the CCD's plastic packaging from its side to make the CCD window easily accessible. Carefully remove the glasses (many pieces) while trying not to let anything physically scratch the die. (Household) vacuum the chip.
So I have the picture #1.
Don't know if it is dead or alive.
