FWIW, Garrett Optical, like most other companies, offers several different quality level of binoculars, what I would call beginners level, moderate quality and good quality. For the most part, the quality levels are commensurate with price. Good value, and for the price, you may get a slightly higher mag and aperture than your Pentax, but not the same quality.

I'm also looking for a better quality 12 to 16 x 60 mm binocular. Pentax stopped making these sizes. I came across the orion 15x63 mini giant binoculars for 220.00. At twice the price of the GO's are these considerably better? Any other importers that make these sizes in the 2 to 300 dollar range. Do you know who else puts their name on the mini Giants 15x63 models?
