I have the 15x50's and occasionally experience this flaring, but it doesnot bother me too much,the glasses have too much going for them to be spoilt by this small problem. Now the eyepieces fogging up----thats another question!! I consider the 15's an excellent (if not my favourite) glass, thinking of getting the 18x as they have been heavily discounted here in recent weeks to around £699
Stabilisation is like a sci fi gift but still better when mounted I use a UA millenium mount, and although the glasses are a little small for a mount this size, the setup is really most enjoyable.
