Long twilit evenings from 51N and the quarter moon nearby unhelpful last night but need my imaging fix
Currently wellplaced due south at dusk here's the brightest quasar [3C273 in Virgo] at ~mag 12.5 in a 100s exp [5x20s subs] with the SX Lodestar CCD which just record a field star ~mag 14.7 - see inset
As an aside I've be lurking on the CN Video Assist Forum and tested how faint my ETX-70+Lodestar combo got in video-refresh 1s - 8s exposures on M13 glob - no worries see here where even 1 second's exposure vastly outperforms my mark 1 eyeball on the same ETX
