Calibrate sensors adjusts the LNT for your magnetic deviation at your SITE-- your first alignment star should be CLOSER after this calibration---
PS-- personally I may still need to move the scope a little bit to get the first star inside a 20mm eyepiece..... sometimes. But like I have said-- for public observing I usually setup during the daytime and just push the ENTER key for each alignment star (which I cannot actually see yet!) --- then later GOTO a NAMED star, center and SYNC.
I know this is NOT in the manual but it works!
