Well, from the time I switch it on, input the correct time, date and then choose which alignment procedure I want to use, go with it and then have the readout inform me it's aligned, it runs about three minutes with my Nexstar 6SE. Granted, it's a bother to do it, but since during a typical evening of viewing I must move the scope around my backyard to avoid objects going behind the trees, I'd be spending over an hour getting the LS aligned. I sometimes change positions four or fives times in a single evening. I guess I could buy a chainsaw...
