Weather, time, and other priorities have all conspired against me, but anyway, here I am. I've been trying the moon in black, with so many wonderful sketchers here doing white on black to give me good examples to try to follow. Ptolemaeus, Alphonsus, and Arzachel form a well-known trio. Nestled in between, the smaller Alpetragius struggles for attention. I decided to focus on just Arzachel, but included the other since it really formed an attractive target. I've been trying to sketch larger, so the target area nearly filled the page side to side (I'm not sure why the scanner cut me off, though).
