Well, we are walking different paths, I have cut down my number of binoculars to two.
Orion Savannah 8X42 Leupold Olympic 10X50
The wide field of the 8X42's are a real joy and a fun way to scan along the Milky Way. The 10X50's are brand new and I am stunned at how good they are, excellent star images with amazing contrast. I look forward to enjoying them over the years.
For me, I found that I liked my ED80 better for wide field views at higher powers than the 10X50 binoculars. I know it is viewing with only one eye, but I found my large binoculars too clumbsy to use and so I sold them.
