Looks fine to me. About comments, don't expect many. This said, the amount of content it takes to keep someone for more than a few minutes on such a website is rather staggering, and people do not compliment or thank often.
It can be quite a cruel thing to put in all this effort, and have no knowledge of what people think of it. But, congratulations are usually few and far between. The "astro websites" of CN, is a segment many never visit, so it does take time before you get any visits, and even more for comments to start beeing sent to your E-mail. You are likely to get spam a lot faster than comments at any E-mail adress you leave on a website. Such is the small-time web author's reality.
Don't be bogged-down by this. A website, just like a blog or magazine, only gets more interesting as content adds up over time. Content is the sole reason for people to show up, and the more you offer, the more readership you get. It's a bit like a Bonsai tree. You have to feed it, trim it, maintain it and be very patient.
