SO this idea definitely worked Jeff, Bravo. It does indeed slew properly with the OTA upside down ie., focuser nob at top left, handle at the top and the finder scopes at the bottom. The scope slews properly in declination.
This also turns the fork tines around so that the RA lock and control knobs are turned away from the eyepiece position, as well as the tine handles and declination control knob.
I am relieved that there does'nt seem to be an issue with the electronics of the scope. This mechanical issue seems an easy fix but I cannot wrap my brain around getting the scope mechanically oriented properly. Help!
