Some images from today - 3rd July 2009

Not much time for solar imaging these days with work and music commmittments getting in the way a lot (great weekend at Glastonbury ) Managed a few late images this afternoon in very average seeing with haze. Not an awful lot on display but there were two small active areas easily visible in Ha and CaK plus a large but very faint prom in the SW. PST Ha and CaK/ DMK41.........Mark

Note the large but extremely faint prom at bottom left of the disk......




AR 11024 starting to brighten up nicely with some plage...

The large faint prom in the SW - exposure was down to 1/9 sec and loads of Gain to get this to show up, a tough one to get an image of............
