Interesting educational targets
      08/07/09 07:42 PM

Hello,

I'm looking for interesting (and fairly bright) targets, that have special meaning, characteristics or an interesting story behind it. For this observing session.
It suppose to stimulate the students (& general public) to get involved in astronomy and science.

Any object than can be captured with a C14 and ST8, with max exposure time of 25sec would be great.
Objects such as special nebulae, doubles, quasars, asteroids... would suit the task.
We're having all sorts of filters and even a spectroscope, so thats might be taken into consideration.

Thanks in advance,
Ido.
