That is quite an accomplishment with a 5-inch from a light polluted area. As for resolving it, it takes a 20-inch class telescope because the brightest stars are 16th or 17th magnitude, it's farther away than most globular clusters and probably obscured significantly by interstellar dust as well. NGC-6934 is the other Delphinus globular and it should be in range of a 5-inch as well. It's a ninth magnitude object about six-arc minutes across.
