Some one who knows of my budding interest in astronomy offered me this pair of binoculars:
Celestron Classical
7x50 8 degree FOV
430 Ft/1000 yards
UV Coated
BAK-4 Prisms
Made in Japan
How old are they? What level of quality are they? Finally, what should I offer? They look in good optical shape and, other than some external dust, look all but new.
