Hmmmmm, it's hard to give a good answer to that one because it depends on your particular circumstances. For example; starting with my raw source images from my DSLR (color) and my DSI Pro III (monochrome) I'd wager processing my DSI Pro III images is a lot faster. Stacking my DSLR images takes a long time and I usually wait until the next day, and hen there's the follow-up processing in Photoshop, but once they're stacked that usually goes fairly quickly. Stacking my monochrome source images usually goes a lot faster (they're smaller) and combining the RGBs in Nebulosity is a snap. I usualy give my monochrome images at least a quick run-through the same night I take them before going to bed.
I guess the short answer is that once you get image procesing figured out neither process is a big deal, I just find I have more options with LRGB imaging than with one-shot color, but both give good results depending on the target and the conditions.
