Hi.

Beautiful clear day today with very good seeing and nice details. Temperature was -20º C but I was really comfortable in my dome. So here my sketches of my 5th day in a row, a record...

Andre.

Michel

As you can see, I did the same area as you on my 3rd sketch. You are close. That match.

Andre,

Excellent.
You should think about making some kind of animation sequence out of your full sun sketches. It would be good.

Indeed, apart for the details you are able to detect, I suppose that the differences we can see cames from the sketch time difference. I did this sketch at 10:40 UT.

Michel.

Yes you are correct. The big prom on the right is different from mine because of time lapse. But on a global look, its very similar. Congratulation to you, you drawn very nice details.

Andre.

Absolutely stunning drawing, André, as always. Yes, comparing your work with Michel's is truly interesting. Given the undoubtable likeness one can only conclude that apart from artists you're both excellent observers.

I hadn't thought of the Canadian winter cold though. Congrats for your perseverance! :)

Peter

Thank you once again. The next coming 4 days will be clear. But temperature is dropping rapidly today and the maximum should range around -24 during daytime and lows around -30 nighttime... Grrrrr.

So my next sketches will show a cold sun surface.

Yes... better make it a blue sun surface next time! :yay:

Cheers,

Peter
