Nikon 10x50 extreme new mod.

just got in a pair of nikon extreme 10x50's, they replace the older action mod, did a star test last night and compared then with a pair of swift 820 audubon's minolta activa and orion ulraviews,all were wide angle .the nikons were brighter better contrast and not as much distortion at the edge.pinpoint stars, they are now waterproof fogproof nitogen purged and O ring sealed,they also have a 3 position twist up eyecup and 17mm eye relief. got them at adorama for 139.00 plus shipping.i was so happy with these for the low price that i order a 2nd pair of 8x40 extreme's.i really think they are the best buy for a porro prism type for 100 to 200.00 bino. i think nikon did there home work on this one.i have tried alot of binos. regards john cota
