Nice gesture with the donation!
Lots of resources on the web. You might find some slides or photos you can drop into a short PowerPoint presentation. I ran a quick search and discovered the kids articles section of CN!
Suggestions: Check with the teacher to see what is being covered, and compliment those efforts.
Talk about the basic operation of a telescope, and the precautions kids should understand around them like not touching any glass, keeping the eyepieces very clean, and never, ever look at the sun.
Depending on the number of kids (10 would be great) and the room you have, use the kids to construct a solar system, with the sun in the middle. Try for scale with distance between planets.
Tell them what can presently be seen at night - Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Moon.
Show/draw a few objects like Orion and use the belt to point to the brightest star. Draw Pleadies and how to show find it. Mention that Pleadies in Japan is called Subaru, and that every Subaru car and truck has Pleadies on the front as it's logo.
Enjoy!
