According to zeiss.com:
"In the newly calculated optical system of these Victory models, special glass containing fluoride with exceptionally low dispersion is used. With this type of glass, the secondary spectrum is kept to a minimum. All of this sounds very scientific, but, in simple terms, it means that color fringes are eliminated to such an extent that they are practically imperceptible to the observer in all light conditions. Color reproduction is both accurate and brilliant"
Thus the aim of fluoride glass is the same as fluorite. I am just curious, has anybody seen a comparison of these two and their properties?
