I was thinking too that was a rather strong description. But I think I get your point. Believe me, if anyone has a case of aperture fever it's me. I went from 7mm to 80mm and 100mm in a blink and I never looked back. I love using big bins. But it all depends on what you're viewing and where as to whether aperture or magnification is MOST important. No blanket statements could possibly be made for everyone across the board.
