I viewed the PST CaK sun this morning [image posted elsewhere on Solar Forum] and most plage features clear of limb visible with care via my fluorescent eyepiece 'filter'. Just cupping the hands around the eyepiece revealed an image but a black head cloth best. I was perhaps too hasty yesterday afternoon under slight haze which is a killer for any detail.
