Congrats to Ray Freeman!!!
Winner of the Meade ETX-LS 6” ACF (Advanced Coma-Free) Go-To Telescope!!
Celestron NexStar 114 SLT
Hello fellow astronomers,
Astronomics, Meade, and Cloudy Nights have come together to give you the chance to make your holidays a little brighter. We've joined forces to give away a $1499 retail value Meade ETX-LS 6” ACF (Advanced Coma-Free) Go-To Telescope on December 15th, 2009. I am sure you are asking how you might go about getting your hands on this little beauty with its state-of-the-art ACF optics.
Simple . . . write a review for Cloudy Nights.
All we are asking for is a review of an astronomy product – any astronomy product – for the review side of Cloudy Nights. There are no length requirements for the review, but a review a few sentences long saying only “I really like my XYZ scope” won’t really qualify. You need to tell other Cloudy Nights members something about the product, so they can decide whether to look into it further to add to their observing kit. Use the review linked below as a good guideline. Images aren’t important, but they do make your review look very nice and professional.

Review Example
The contest works like this.
- Write a review or article for www.cloudynights.com
- Submit the review to submit@cloudynights.com. Process is outlined here: http://www.cloudynights.com/category.php?category_id=147
- The contest ends at Midnight CST December 15th, 2009.
- The winning review will be simply drawn at random from all reviews entered. There is no judge for this particular contest and style points will not be awarded.
- Meade will ship the scope directly to the winner.
- The contest is open only to residents of the 48 Contiguous United States.
- The winner is responsible for all taxes and will be sent the appropriate W9 tax form to fill out and send to Meade before the scope can be shipped.
- You may enter multiple times, but with a different review each time.
